Meet Your Dentist
Dr. Ariosto Rosado
Dr. Ariosto Rosado was raised in Novi, Michigan until about the age of 12, when his family moved to Orlando to escape the cold. With both of his parents being physicians, he aspired to become a doctor, but he found he didn’t like spending time in hospitals. Instead, he decided to pursue dentistry after spending time shadowing his family’s dentist.
Dr. Rosado graduated from the Pontificia Católica Madre y Maestra School of Dentistry in 2014 and completed his advanced standing program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. During his schooling, he placed a special importance on partaking in mission trips and provided as much comprehensive dental care to underserved populations as possible. Dr. Rosado has continued his education with advanced training in several disciplines in the field such as implantology, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and CAD/CAM digital dentistry.
While Dr Rosado’s family still lives in Orlando, he relocated to Fort Myers in Southwest Florida for an associateship. He and his wife Jenna purchased Sun Smile Dentistry in June, 2022 and now reside in Port Charlotte with their two dogs. Dr. Rosado is passionate about discovering new methods to improve his patient’s dental experience. His practice is dedicated to providing excellent dental services to the Port Charlotte and surrounding areas.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock
Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
